Pullman Hotel in West Jakarta catches fire, 14 fire units deployed

A fire hit the Pullman Hotel on Jalan Letjen S. Parman, Tanjung Duren Selatan, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Saturday morning, Aug. 1, 2026. The West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency deployed 14 fire engines and 70 personnel after receiving a report at 07:59 WIB. According to West Jakarta Fire and Rescue chief Syaiful Kahfi, crews departed one minute later and began intensive firefighting at 08.05 WIB. The fire was then contained to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building. Since 08.15 WIB, firefighters have been conducting cooling operations and the response status remains yellow. As of this report, there has been no official information on the cause of the fire or the amount of damage. There were no reports of fatalities or injuries.
