Hajj workers assist elderly pilgrims at Madinah airport on return

Landis airport workers escorted YIA 12 pilgrims from Kebumen with wheelchairs and assistance in the waiting area.

The Hajj Organizing Officers (PPIH) for the elderly and people with disabilities assisted older pilgrims during their return at Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Madinah on Tuesday (16/6/2026). One worker, Namira Stasya, greeted the YIA 12 Hajj group from Kebumen, Central Java, and repeatedly offered wheelchairs to pilgrims who appeared tired. After they agreed, she found a wheelchair, helped them sit down, then accompanied them to the airport waiting area. Namira, who has worked in the Landis airport assignment for about two months, said her background in service helped her adapt. She described serving elderly pilgrims as similar to caring for her own parents and grandparents.
