GTA 6 priced at 69.99 pounds, physical edition has no disc
New: the standard version is priced at $79.99 in the U.S., while the physical box contains only a download code, raising resale questions.
Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 in several countries starting at local midnight, pricing the standard edition at 69.99 pounds and the premium edition at 89.99 pounds in Britain. In the United States, the standard version is set at $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition costs $100. Rockstar also decided that the physical edition will not include a disc, but a code to download the game inside the box. The decision has raised questions among fans about collectible value and the possibility of reselling the game after use. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Buyers of the digital version can begin pre-loading on 12 November, and the physical version will also be available from that date to support pre-loading.
