Gojek to send 70 legend drivers on umrah Sept. 2
The program targets drivers who joined in 2010-2014 and are still serving customers, some for about 15 years.
Gojek will send 70 Mitra Driver Legend to perform umrah on Sept. 2, 2026. The program is aimed at drivers who joined from 2010 to 2014, when Gojek still operated as a call center, and who remain active in serving customers today. Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi backed the initiative as a form of recognition and an effort to improve driver welfare. GoTo CEO Hans Patuwo said the legend drivers helped build and sustain the company from its early days. The umrah trip is part of the Gojek Partner Appreciation Program, which also includes BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, holiday bonuses, education scholarships for drivers' children, school supplies assistance, Swadaya points, and internet quotas.
