Gibran inspects 2 bridges, school after Bireuen floods
Krueng Tingkeum bridge is 80.5% complete, Teupin Mane 45%, and renovation of SDN 7 Jangka has reached 86%.
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming inspected post-flood infrastructure and school recovery in Bireuen regency, Aceh, on Thursday (6/8). During the visit, he checked construction of Krueng Tingkeum Bridge in Kuta Blang, Teupin Mane Bridge in Juli district, and the renovation of SD Negeri 7 Jangka, which was damaged by mud flooding in November 2025. Zulkarnain, head of the Aceh National Road Implementation Center, reported that progress on Krueng Tingkeum has reached 80.5% and is targeted to be operational by the end of December 2026. Teupin Mane Bridge is about 45% complete, with the structure targeted to be connected by the end of August and ready for use in October 2026. Muslim, head of the Bireuen Education Office, said renovation of SDN 7 Jangka has reached 86% and is targeted for completion in October.
