Genoa beat Juventus 2-0, Spalletti's side stays 8th
Juventus are now 11 points off the top and have won only twice in their last seven Serie A matches.
Genoa beat Juventus 2-0 in the ninth round of the 2026/2027 Serie A season at Luigi Ferraris Stadium on Thursday morning WIB. The hosts went ahead through goals from Kingsley Ehizibue in the 12th minute and Tommaso Baldanzi in the 28th, then held the lead until the final whistle. Juventus controlled possession but their attack lacked sharpness and they failed to respond. The best chance for Luciano Spalletti's team came in stoppage time when Teun Koopmeiners' free kick hit the crossbar; goal-line technology confirmed the ball had not crossed the line. The result leaves Juventus eighth with 14 points, 11 points behind Inter Milan and Lazio at the top. For Genoa, the win lifted them to 13th place with 10 points.
