Gapura Angkasa handles cargo for MotoGP Mandalika 2026 in Lombok
Qatar Airways Cargo used a Boeing 777 Freighter to move logistics vehicles, a safety car and racing equipment for the event.
PT Gapura Angkasa handled logistics and ground-handling services for the 2026 MotoGP Mandalika at Lombok International Airport in Nusa Tenggara Barat. In this year's operation, Qatar Airways Cargo flew a Boeing 777 Freighter to carry equipment for the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, including logistics vehicles, a safety car and supporting race gear. Gapura managed the aircraft and cargo from arrival through departure, with a focus on safety, security and on-time performance. Gapura Angkasa CEO Ichwan F Agus said the company has been involved in MotoGP Mandalika logistics support since 2022. Beyond cargo, Gapura also provided pickup and escort services for riders through its premium JOUMPA service.
