Fulham sign Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Madrid
Garcia is under contract through 2031 in a deal reported at about 40 million euro, with Madrid retaining a 30 percent sell-on clause.
Fulham have signed two young Real Madrid players, Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios, on five-year contracts through 2031 with an option for a 12-month extension. Garcia, a 22-year-old Spain forward, was reportedly bought for about 40 million euro and reunites with Fulham coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who previously worked with him at Madrid. Last season, Garcia made 39 appearances and scored eight goals in all competitions, including six in LaLiga. He also made his Spain debut in June. Palacios, a 21-year-old attacking midfielder, arrives after five senior appearances for Madrid, all as a substitute. According to Spanish media reports, Madrid also kept a 30 percent sell-on clause for Garcia.
