Former Kopassus member slashed by neighbor in Cakung, head injured
Fahrul was treated at Rumah Sakit Mayapada Jakarta Garden City, while the suspect was also injured after the victim fought back.
Former Kopassus member Muhammad Fahrul, 48 years old, suffered a slash wound to the right side of his head after being attacked by his neighbor at Perumahan Jakarta Garden City, Cakung Timur, East Jakarta, on Thursday (22/10). Police said the trigger was a dispute over renovations next to the suspect's home. The dispute began when Jef Budiharto's wife, 57 years old, told the construction foreman to stop work. Tensions escalated after Fahrul asked for the work to continue. Jef then came to the site, got into an argument, threatened to slash Fahrul, and swung a golok. The second swing struck Fahrul's head. The victim fought back by slamming the suspect to the floor, leaving Jef with injuries to his neck and temple. Fahrul is being treated at Rumah Sakit Mayapada Jakarta Garden City, while Jef was taken to Rumah Sakit Islam Pondok Kopi. Polsek Cakung is still examining the role of each party.
