Polri Names Febrie Adriansyah Suspect in Coal Corruption Case
Police also named DR a suspect after questioning 15 witnesses, two experts and searching more than a dozen locations.
Polri has named former Kejaksaan Agung Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah a suspect in an alleged corruption and money-laundering case linked to case handling, including an alleged coal corruption case that triggered a blackout. Kakortastipidkor Polri Totok Suharyanto announced the decision at a news conference at the Kejaksaan Agung building in South Jakarta on Saturday (11/7). In addition to Febrie, investigators also named DR, from the private sector, as a suspect. Totok said the move followed a case review, searches at more than a dozen locations, interviews with 15 witnesses and testimony from two experts. In the same event, Jamwas Rudi Margono, now acting Jampidsus, said handling of the three cases would be handed over to Kejaksaan Agung, with coordination continuing with police.
