Forest make £40m bid for Everton teenager Harrison Armstrong

Nottingham Forest have made a reported £40 million bid for Everton midfielder Harrison Armstrong, putting one of the club’s top young prospects at the center of a late-window test. Armstrong, 19, started in Everton’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday, where traveling fans chanted against any sale.
Manager David Moyes said he wants to keep Armstrong but made clear the decision rests with the club. He has also pushed for more signings before the transfer window closes on Tuesday, saying Everton need a bigger squad and should not lose key players. Armstrong has made 24 appearances for Everton and is seen as one of the brightest products from Finch Farm in recent years.
