In Central Florida, NPR reported the AP called the 7th District Republican primary for Ryan Elijah over incumbent Cory Mills, who had faced a House Ethics Committee investigation. The governor's race also drew scrutiny as Ron DeSantis is term-limited and Byron Donalds sought the GOP nomination with Trump's backing.
