Bruno Fernandes scored three times as Manchester United beat Ipswich Town 5-2 at Old Trafford after falling behind in the first half. Leif Davis put Ipswich ahead in the 29th minute, but Fernandes leveled before halftime and converted a penalty early in the second half. United's go-ahead goal stood after VAR determined Harry Maguire's effort was going wide and went in off Jacob Greaves for an own goal despite an accidental handball in the buildup. Fernandes completed his hat trick in the 67th minute, Bryan Mbeumo added a late fifth, and Chuba Akpom pulled one back in stoppage time. The win followed United's defeat last week and marked Marcus Rashford's first league start for the club since December 2024.
