The resignation letter was received by the Attorney General on Saturday, as Febrie became embroiled in a legal process being handled by Polri.
Febrie Adriansyah stepped down from his post as Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Kejaksaan Agung on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Kejaksaan Agung Legal Information Center chief Anang Supriatna said the resignation letter was received directly by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin. Kejaksaan said the decision was made to preserve the integrity, objectivity and neutrality of law enforcement after Febrie’s name became entangled in a legal process being handled by Polri investigators.
