FBI offers $25,000 as Kansas City I-70 shooting suspect remains at large

What's new: Police link the 22-year-old to six shootings in Kansas and Missouri, including one fatal attack and an earlier Wyandotte County case.

Federal and local authorities are searching for Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, 22, after a series of shootings in the Kansas City area that killed one person and wounded several others. Investigators say he is suspected in five shootings Tuesday night along the Interstate 70 corridor in Kansas City, Missouri, and in a June 11 shooting in Wyandotte County, Kansas. Kansas City police said four people survived the Tuesday attacks, including an Uber driver carrying fans to a World Cup match at Arrowhead Stadium. After the shootings, officers surrounded a home in Independence, Missouri, where Sanchez-Munoz allegedly barricaded himself. The house later caught fire, but police said he was not inside. The FBI said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
