Fajar/Fikri Retain China Open Title After Beating Kim/Seo
The Indonesian pair closed out the Asia swing with back-to-back titles after also winning the Japan Open last week.
Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri retained the 2026 China Open title after defeating South Korea's Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae 16-21, 21-19, 21-19 in the final at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center on Sunday. The BWF Super 1000 victory made Fajar/Fikri back-to-back champions at the China Open. They dropped the first game before turning the match around with two straight 21-19 wins. The title also ensured Indonesia did not leave without a trophy after failing in the other four events. A week earlier, Fajar/Fikri also won the 2026 Japan Open and are now turning their attention to the 2026 BWF World Championships.
