Enes Kanter Freedom ejected after clash at Sky-Fever game
What's new: The incident followed his 2027 WNBA draft bid and ended with security escorting him from Chicago's Wintrust Arena.
Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected during the third quarter of Sunday’s WNBA game between the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever after a courtside confrontation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud. During a timeout, Cloud pointed and shouted toward Kanter Freedom, who stood up and moved toward the court before security stepped in and removed him from Wintrust Arena. Kanter Freedom had arrived wearing a shirt reading, “WOMAN noun. Adult human female.” After the game, Cloud wrote on Threads that transgender people “belong” and “will always be protected by me.” Sky coach Tyler Marsh said fans should come to enjoy the basketball, while Indiana beat Chicago 113-90.
