Luminate data cited by AP showed US audio and video streams of her catalog jumped 2,458%, from 1.2 million on Monday to 30.5 million on Tuesday, then climbed to 46.3 million on Wednesday. Worldwide, streams rose from 2.5 million to 41.8 million on Tuesday, up 1,549%. Her on-demand audio streams reached 79.7 million on Wednesday, making her the most streamed artist globally that day. Top tracks included "Jolene," "9 to 5," "Islands in the Stream" and "I Will Always Love You." The spike underscored the scale of renewed interest in Parton's six-decade career after news of her death.
