DKI launches 5 mobile veterinary clinics across Jakarta

The service covers vaccines, ultrasound, sterilization and lab tests under regional fee rules.

The DKI Jakarta provincial government has begun operating five mobile veterinary clinic vans across the city’s five administrative areas to expand access to animal health services. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung reviewed the service at RPTRA Mustika in East Jakarta on Friday (10/7) and urged residents to use it. Each unit is staffed by a veterinarian and veterinary paramedics. Services include consultations, health checks, vaccinations, treatment, blood, biochemistry, urine and feces laboratory tests, ultrasound, sterilization and minor surgery. Fees follow Regional Regulation No. 1 Tahun 2024, including Rp35.000 for a health check, Rp400.000 for cat sterilization, Rp700.000 for dog sterilization and Rp200.000 for ultrasound. The provincial government said the program also supports Jakarta’s status as a rabies-free city.
