DKI to raise fares on several Transjabodetabek routes in June

The Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta route is projected at Rp10.000-Rp15.000 as 2026 subsidies reach Rp401 billion.

The DKI Jakarta provincial government is preparing to adjust fares on several Transjabodetabek routes starting this month, with the SH2 Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta International Airport route the first focus. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said the airport route is projected to cost between Rp10.000 and Rp15.000 after the service runs stably for about three months since its launch on March 12, 2026. The main reasons are the subsidy burden and high operating costs, including the long route, new fleet and parking fees at Terminals 1, 2 and 3. DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency head Budi Awaludin said the agency is preparing outreach, expanding the maximum integrated fare of Rp10.000 for three hours through the JakLingko app, and improving first-mile and last-mile connections. Transjabodetabek subsidies in 2026 are said to reach Rp401.087.058.387, with an average of Rp12.258 per customer.
