DKI, Kemenpora to hold Youth Camp 2026, summit for 5,000

The Oct. 21-31 and 29-30, 2026 events will be centered at TIM and tied to preparations for the 100th Youth Pledge in 2028.

The DKI Jakarta provincial government and the Ministry of Youth and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding to hold Wirasena Youth Camp and Indonesia Youth Summit 2026 in Jakarta. Wirasena Youth Camp is scheduled for Oct. 21-31, 2026, with around 168 participants, while the Indonesia Youth Summit will take place Oct. 29-30, 2026, with a target of about 5,000 participants. The events will be centered at Taman Ismail Marzuki and several facilities owned by the DKI Jakarta provincial government. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said the provincial government will provide cross-sector support, from transportation and health services to publicity and participant mobility. Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir said the program will also involve cooperation with nine countries and coordination with the United Nations for benchmarking youth development ahead of the 100th Youth Pledge in 2028.
