DKI waives PKB and BBNKB penalties at PRJ Samsat booths
Vehicle owners can clear tax arrears without administrative fines, and PKB payers at the PRJ site receive souvenirs while supplies last.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has waived administrative sanctions on Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) and Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) at Samsat booths at Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) until 31 August 2026. The program, which has run since 1 June, is part of celebrations for Jakarta's 499th anniversary. Under the policy, taxpayers can settle overdue vehicle taxes without late-payment penalties. The Samsat booth at the Jakarta Fair grounds is intended to let visitors handle payments without going to a Samsat office. Bapenda DKI Jakarta is also providing exclusive souvenirs for residents who pay PKB at the booth while supplies last. The provincial government said the relief could improve compliance with local taxes while supporting revenue for development and public services in Jakarta.
