Davina Karamoy questioned at Polda Metro over Hanania fraud
Investigators asked about 30 questions, including on umrah endorsements and the Rp20 million allowance that was returned.
Actor Davina Karamoy answered a summons from Polda Metro Jaya as a witness in the alleged fraud case involving travel agency Hanania Group in Jakarta on Thursday. Her lawyer, Julius Irawansyah, said investigators asked around 30 questions about Davina's role in promoting Hanania on social media. Julius said Davina went on umrah with Hanania twice, in September 2024 and August 2025. The first trip was part of a contractual arrangement with a private television program, while the second was described as a paid trip with family. According to Julius, Davina officially paid Rp233,8 juta for several family members and did not receive the trip as a free facility. The Rp10 juta allowance for each trip, or Rp20 juta in total, was also voluntarily returned to investigators.
