Danantara restructures WIKA and Waskita amid BEI delisting risk

WIKA has been on the forced delisting list since early 2025, while Waskita is in a potential delisting period after a long suspension.

Danantara is working to repair the fundamentals and financial position of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk and PT Waskita Karya Tbk as both face the risk of being delisted from the Bursa Efek Indonesia. Dony Oskaria, head of BP BUMN and also COO of Danantara Indonesia, said the main focus now is to restore the companies' health in real terms, not merely keep them listed on the exchange. He said the delisting risk will be assessed as part of the transformation and restructuring process for BUMN Karya. WIKA has been on the potential forced delisting list since early 2025 after a prolonged suspension caused by liquidity problems and delayed debt payments. Waskita remains suspended and has entered a potential delisting period because the restructuring of Obligasi Berkelanjutan III Tahap IV Tahun 2019 Seri B has not been completed.
