Crystal Palace sign US prospect Zavier Gozo in $15 million deal

Crystal Palace have signed United States prospect Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake for a reported $15 million, adding the 19-year-old forward on a five-year deal pending international clearance. Gozo came through the Real Salt Lake academy after joining in 2021 and made his MLS debut in October 2023 at age 16. He has six goals and four assists in Real Salt Lake’s first 16 league matches this season and was picked for the MLS All-Star Game. Utah-born Gozo has represented the United States at youth levels through the under-23 team. He becomes Palace’s sixth signing of the summer as the club prepares to open its Premier League season at Everton under new coach Pierre Sage.
