Clash near Manggarai line disrupts Bogor-Jakarta KRL
The disruption delayed 8 trains bound for Jakarta Kota and held up 6 trains to Bogor until the track was declared safe.
KRL service on the Bogor-Jakarta Kota line was disrupted on Friday afternoon, 21 August 2026, after a clash between residents near the rail line between Manggarai Station and Pasar Minggu. KAI Commuter temporarily halted trains from the Manggarai and Tebet directions for passenger safety and operational security. KAI Commuter public relations manager Leza Arlan said station security officers coordinated with relevant parties and were deployed around the site. The impact was that eight trips to Jakarta Kota were delayed, while six trips toward Bogor were held up. In an update on the @commuterline account at around 18.05 WIB, the line had been secured and Bogor-line KRL trains began running again as the backlog of trains was cleared.
