What's new: Jota returned from injury as Celtic ended a three-game losing streak and moved back above Rangers.
Celtic moved back to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 win at Motherwell, ending a three-game losing run that had deepened pressure around the club during the international break. Camilo Durán scored early at Fir Park before Benjamin Nygren added a second in the 58th minute. Jota returned to action in a boost for Celtic, while Motherwell slumped to a fourth straight defeat despite several saves from goalkeeper Alex Paulsen. The result lifted Celtic back above Rangers, who had briefly gone top after beating Kilmarnock 3-1 on Saturday behind two goals from Ryan Naderi and another from Kevin Kelsy.
