Causeway Point to add 32,000-square-foot reading hub in 2028

Frasers Centrepoint Trust and Singapore’s National Library & Archives Board will open a 32,000-square-foot social reading space at Causeway Point in 2028, repurposing the former Cathay Cineplexes site across parts of the mall’s sixth and seventh floors. Called The HomePage @ Causeway Point, the hub will carry one of Singapore’s largest publicly accessible collections of pre-loved library books, including titles in different languages, alongside a Singapore literature showcase and local authors. Visitors will be able to take home the pre-loved books without borrowing them. The project is part of a broader asset enhancement initiative due to start in the second quarter of 2027 and finish by the end of 2029.
