Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani questioned after KPK arrest in Solo
KPK took Etik and several others from Polresta Surakarta at about 05.41 WIB and has 1x24 jam to decide their legal status.
Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani underwent questioning at Mapolresta Surakarta after being caught in a KPK arrest operation on Thursday (9/7) night. The questioning lasted about eight hours until Friday (10/7) morning. Around 05.41 WIB, Etik left the building and went straight into a bus that had been prepared along with the other group members. Officers were also seen carrying six green suitcases from the questioning area. Etik did not answer reporters' questions when she was taken out. KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto confirmed the operation. As of this report, KPK has not detailed the case construction or the exact number of people detained, but the agency has a maximum of 1x24 jam to determine the legal status of those arrested.
