Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander has turned the Democratic primary for New York's 10th Congressional District into a serious threat to Rep. Dan Goldman, a two-term incumbent who would typically be favored for renomination. Lander, running with backing from New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Sen. Bernie Sanders and the New York Working Families Party, has tried to harness anti-establishment energy and pull the race to Goldman's left. CNBC reported that limited polling is mixed, but one recent Emerson College survey showed Lander ahead by 34 points.
