BPK to lay Fathan Subchi to rest Friday in Demak
The body was returned from Moscow, taken to the family home in Condet, and burial is set for 09.30 WIB Friday.
Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan held a lying-in-state ceremony and farewell for Anggota VI BPK Fathan Subchi at its headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday night, Oct. 29, 2026. The body arrived first at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport after being returned from Moscow, Russia, then was taken to the BPK office. The ceremony in the lobby of Tower BPK began with a funeral prayer and condolences to the family. Ketua BPK Isma Yatun gave remarks, while Muhaimin Iskandar represented the family. After the ceremony, the body was taken to the funeral home in Condet, East Jakarta. Fathan Subchi will be buried in his hometown of Demak, Central Java, on Friday at 09.30 WIB. BPK said the tribute was an expression of appreciation for his service since he took office as Anggota VI BPK in October 2024.
