BPK member Fathan Subchi dies on duty in Moscow
BPK said Fathan died while conducting an audit assignment in Russia; he served as member VI for 2024-2029.
Fathan Subchi, a member of Indonesia's Supreme Audit Agency, BPK, died at the age of 56 while carrying out an audit assignment in Moscow, Russia. The news was conveyed by BPK through its Bureau of Public Relations and International Cooperation. Fathan had served as a BPK member for the 2024-2029 term since October 2024. Before joining BPK, he served two terms in the House of Representatives from the National Awakening Party, PKB, in 2014-2024. PKB's central executive board, DPP PKB, also expressed condolences over the death of the politician, who had been active in Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia. In addition to serving in the House, Fathan was noted as a leader of IKA PB PMII and had also been involved in Majelis Ulama Indonesia.
