Bogor plans 6 new stations on Parung Panjang-Jasinga rail line
The 27.26-km line is projected to take 24 minutes, with operating fares of Rp20.000-Rp30.000 per passenger.
Bogor Regency is planning construction of six new stations as part of the Parung Panjang-Jasinga rail line development to strengthen connectivity in western Bogor. Bogor Regency Secretary Ajat Rochmat Jatnika said the plan follows instructions from Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto that mass transit should not be concentrated only in the Puncak area. An initial study by Bapperida Bogor Regency in 2025 recommended the Parung Panjang-Jasinga route after assessing 15 technical, economic, social and environmental criteria. The heavy rail line is designed to stretch about 27.26 kilometers, connect to the existing Parung Panjang station, and include six level crossings and 17 bridges. Travel time is projected at 24 minutes. The regency also is preparing the line to function as a feeder for passengers to KRL Commuter Line Jabodetabek through Parung Panjang Station.
