9-Year-Old Boy Dies, Suspected Dog Attack in Bogor
Police are questioning witnesses after MAS was found in the grass in Sipak Village with head injuries.
A 9-year-old boy identified as MAS was found dead in Sipak Village, Jasinga, Bogor Regency, West Java, and is suspected to have been attacked by a wild boar hunting dog. According to early accounts from relatives and residents, the victim was fishing when he was chased and then bitten by the dog. A passerby found the body about 11:30 WIB lying in the grass. Police said the boy had injuries to the head, while no dog was found at the scene when officers arrived. Video circulating online also showed the victim's father venting his anger at a man in a group carrying the dog, prompting a brief commotion. Iptu Agus said police are still questioning witnesses and investigating the exact cause of the boy's death.
