Bima Arya inspects 4 Kopdes Merah Putih in Bandung
The government is preparing checks on SPHP rice, LPG and electricity token supplies so village cooperatives do not run short.
Deputy Home Affairs Minister Bima Arya Sugiarto inspected operations at four Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih in Bandung Regency and Padalarang to check service readiness and supplies of subsidized goods. The sites visited were KDKMP Citaman, Desa Bojongloa, Desa Cangkuang Wetan in Dayeuhkolot, and Desa Padalarang. During the visit, Bima stressed that village cooperatives depend on joint work by village heads, cooperative managers, operational managers, BUMN and local governments. The items checked included SPHP rice from Perum Bulog, LPG from Pertamina and electricity token purchase services from PLN. He also said KDKMP are intended to support the distribution of social assistance and subsidized goods, not to compete with grocery stores or minimarkets.
