Bilal Hasan to make UFC debut against Nilson Rojas in Shanghai

Bilal Hasan will make his UFC debut against Peruvian fighter Nilson Rojas in a flyweight bout in Shanghai, China, on Saturday, Aug. 29. Bilal disclosed the matchup on his official Instagram account, and Rojas' promoter, INKA MMA, also posted the same information. The Hawaii-born fighter of Indonesian parents has remained unbeaten since entering MMA in 2021. As a professional, Bilal swept eight fights in Cage Fury Fighting Championship and still holds the lightweight title after defeating Jose Leon in September 2024. He earned his UFC contract after stopping Mridul Saikia by TKO in 45 seconds on Dana White's Contender Series in Las Vegas. Rojas also remains unbeaten as a professional with nine wins.
