BGN settles Rp243.9 billion e-motorbike purchase, assets held
The planned procurement was revised from 25,000 to about 21,000 units as corruption investigators examine the Makan Bergizi Gratis program.
The National Nutrition Agency said the purchase of electric motorbikes for the Makan Bergizi Gratis program has been fully paid, but it has not been recorded as fixed assets because it remains part of a prosecutors' investigation. Acting head Agustina Arumsari told a meeting with Commission IX of the House of Representatives on Friday (17/7/2026) that the Rp243.9 billion down payment was made in 2025 and the final payment was completed in 2026 after the 2025 fiscal year closed. As a result, the transaction is listed as a subsequent event in the financial statements. Agustina also said the procurement plan was revised from 25,000 units to about 21,000 units. Earlier, Jampidsus investigators sealed more than 6,000 EMMO electric motorbikes in connection with alleged corruption in the procurement of 20,801 units worth Rp1.1 trillion in 2026.
