BGN owes Rp1.6 trillion for Free Nutritious Meals project
Third-party payments remain pending as the 2026 budget revision is still under review at the Kementerian Keuangan.
Badan Gizi Nasional still carries Rp 1.6 trillion in arrears to third parties for implementing the Free Nutritious Meals project in the 2025 fiscal year. BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari gave the figure during a hearing with Commission IX of the DPR in Jakarta on Friday, July 17, 2026. The largest bill came from building MBG kitchens, or Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi, worth Rp 1.04 trillion. BGN said settlement would be pursued through an arrears mechanism in the 2026 DIPA, but the process is still under review by Direktorat Jenderal Anggaran. Arumsari also outlined a Rp 870 billion correction to the debt balance and Rp 743 billion in unverified value components. In addition, a Rp 243 billion down payment for the procurement of 21 thousand electric motorcycles has been settled, but it has not yet been recorded as a definitive asset because it is still under investigation by the prosecutor's office.
