Banyumas exhumation of Sutrimo yields samples, results in 2-3 weeks

External examination found no signs of blunt or sharp-force injury, but toxicology, histopathology and DNA tests are continuing.

A forensic team exhumed the body of Sutrimo in Wlahar Village, Wangon, Banyumas, on Wednesday (12/8), then took a number of samples for laboratory testing to trace the cause of death. PDFMI chair Sumy Hastry Purwanti said the samples would be examined thoroughly, including to determine whether Sutrimo's death was natural or not. Forensic team leader Ahmad Yudianto said the external examination found no signs of injuries from blunt or sharp force. However, the team is continuing histopathology, toxicology and DNA testing at Puslabfor. Final results are expected in two to three weeks. The exhumation is part of an investigation by Polda Metro Jaya together with Polda Jawa Tengah and Polresta Banyumas.
