Bank lending grows 12.67% in June 2026, led by investment
Deposits slowed to 10.21% while MSME lending returned to growth at 1.05% and corporate credit rose 20.45%.
Otoritas Jasa Keuangan recorded bank lending in June 2026 rising 12.67 percent year on year to Rp9.081 trillion, faster than 11.51 percent in May. The strongest growth came from investment loans, which climbed 24.9 percent, while by borrower category corporate credit grew 20.45 percent. MSME lending also improved and returned to growth at 1.05 percent after standing at 0.60 percent in May. On the funding side, third-party funds increased 10.21 percent to Rp10.282 trillion, slowing from 13.47 percent in May. OJK said lending growth above deposit growth is pressuring liquidity, but conditions remain adequate. Bank BUMN posted the highest loan growth among groups at 16.54 percent.
