ATR/BPN launches 10-day land title transfer service in 17 offices

The process splits into 3 days for BPHTB verification, 2 days for the deed, and 5 days at land offices, then expands to 100 offices by end-2026.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN has begun rolling out an integrated rights transfer service, or land title transfer, with a target completion time of no more than 10 working days in 17 land offices as of Aug. 17, 2026. ATR Minister and BPN Chief Nusron Wahid said the service coverage will be expanded in stages, with 24 more offices added in September and a target of 100 offices by the end of December 2026. The scheme is divided into three stages: verification of the Bea Perolehan Hak atas Tanah dan Bangunan by local governments for three days using a positive fictitious approach, preparation of the Akta Jual Beli by PPAT for two days, and processing of documents at land offices for five days. The initial phase includes, among others, Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Utara, Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Pusat, Surabaya I, Kota Semarang, Batam, Makassar, and Depok.
