Los Angeles County deputies arrested a 38-year-old man at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes on Sunday after federal agents saw him taking photos and video while appearing to watch security preparations ahead of President Donald Trump's visit. Authorities said Jeanine John Taele of Downey had a 16-round magazine with hollow-point ammunition in his pocket, and a search of his car turned up a loaded pistol and another magazine. Investigators then searched his home and recovered more firearms, body armor, ammunition, radios and notebooks with concerning statements. Taele pleaded not guilty Monday to felony and misdemeanor weapons-related charges. Officials said they found no credible threat to the broader community.
