Apple lifts MacBook and iPad prices as memory costs surge
Why it matters: The increases hit laptops and tablets, while Apple left iPhone prices unchanged and warned margins could weaken.
Apple raised prices for several MacBook and iPad models on June 25 after a sharp jump in memory and storage chip costs tied to the AI data-center boom. The company increased the starting price of its Neo laptop to $699 from $599.
