FertilityIQ puts the average cost of one cycle, including hormone stimulation and egg retrieval, at about $16,000. Total costs can rise sharply if patients need multiple cycles, plus storage and later implantation. The report said limited insurance coverage leaves elective egg freezing out of reach for many women, while France’s public health insurance fully covers the procedure.
