AMDATARA gives Anugerah Hijau 2026 to 3 environmental initiatives
Recipients include waste management in Wonogiri, mangrove rehabilitation in Semarang, and UNS students’ community outreach.
AMDATARA presented the Anugerah Hijau 2026 to three environmental and community empowerment initiatives in Indonesia. The award from Perkumpulan Pengusaha Air Dalam Kemasan Nusantara recognizes programs seen as delivering innovation and collaboration for sustainable development. The recipients were Bank Sampah BERSERI Wonogiri in the category of community-based waste bank initiators, Yayasan Inspirasi Keluarga KeSEMaT or IKAMAT Semarang for mangrove ecosystem conservation, and KSP Principium Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta for youth-led community empowerment. AMDATARA Chairman Karyanto Wibowo said the award is expected to encourage more good practices that can be replicated in other regions.
