Akpol cadet AMM dies at Semarang campus, police probe
AMM was found injured Thursday night, taken to RS Bhayangkara and is believed to have fallen from a dormitory.
An Academy of Police cadet identified as AMM died after being found injured at the Akpol Semarang complex on Thursday (30/7) night. Yuliyanto, head of public relations for the Jawa Tengah police, said AMM was rushed to RS Bhayangkara Semarang, but could not be saved. Police are still examining the scene and questioning the first people to learn of the incident. Based on gathered information, AMM is believed to have fallen from the second or third floor of a dormitory and was found outdoors, but investigators have not concluded the cause of death. AMM was a cadet assigned from Polda Papua Barat and was scheduled to take part in an integration exercise in Magelang with Akmil and AAU cadets. The body was laid to rest at RS Bhayangkara before being returned to the family for burial in Makassar.
