Aberdeen score twice after 90 minutes to beat Hearts 2-1
What's new: Lewis Mayo equalized in the 90th minute before Kevin Nisbet won it from the spot after Stuart Findlay was sent off.
Aberdeen opened their Scottish Premiership season with a 2-1 comeback win over Hearts at Pittodrie, scoring twice after the 90th minute. Hearts had led since the 35th minute through Oisin McEntee and looked set to end a long wait for a win at Aberdeen. But Lewis Mayo bundled in a late equalizer after Dan Happe headed Connor Ronan's free kick back into danger. Deep in stoppage time, Aberdeen won a penalty when Stuart Findlay was sent off for denying a goal-scoring opportunity, and Kevin Nisbet converted to complete the turnaround. The defeat was a third straight loss for Hearts under Wouter Vrancken after their midweek Champions League qualifying setback against Sturm Graz.
