8 events at GBK prompt traffic diversions on June 6-7
Police and the Transportation Agency estimate up to 43,000 people will crowd the Senayan area at the weekend peak.
Polda Metro Jaya and the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency are preparing situational traffic management in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Senayan, on June 6-7, 2026, because eight major events will be held at the same time. Ditlantas said diversion plans will be applied only if vehicle buildup occurs; if traffic remains normal, officers will focus on traffic control and patrols. The Transportation Agency estimates 37,800 visitors will come on Saturday and 43,000 people on Sunday. Events in the area include EXO Planet #6 ExhOrizon in Jakarta, Raisa, Indonesia Open 2026, Yellow Run, JKT48, PUBG Mobile Global Grand Final, Indofest, and the 10th Anniversary celebration of Reality Club. People with no business in the area are asked to avoid roads around GBK, and visitors are advised to use public transportation.
