8,000 runners set for PLN Electric Run 2026 at ICE BSD
The half marathon has earned a World Athletics label, with Rp1 billion in podium prizes and an electric car for any national record breaker.
A total of 8,000 runners are scheduled to take part in PLN Electric Run 2026 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, on Sunday, Nov. 8. Ahead of the race, race pack collection will run Nov. 6-7 at Senayan Park, Central Jakarta, for participants in the Half Marathon 21K, Star Energy Geothermal 10K and MCI 5K categories, using registration proof in the PLN Mobile app. This year, the half marathon has received the World Athletics Road Race Label 2026. Organizers also said the entire route was measured in line with AIMS standards. PLN will provide water stations every two kilometers, water mist areas and 13 satellite medical tents along the course. Total podium prizes reach Rp1 billion, plus one electric car for a runner who breaks the half marathon national record.
