7 mascots join Singapore's NDP 2026 as Kallang adds fan events

Singapore's 2026 National Day Parade is expanding beyond the National Stadium with seven local mascots, more than 2,600 performers and a slate of public events around Kallang. Organizers set live music, dance shows, exhibitions and light installations for July 25, Aug. 1 and Aug. 9 in the lead-up to National Day on Aug. 9. The mascots are August, Becky Bunny, Sharity, Captain Green, Nila, BRAVE and Singa, each tied to a local cause or campaign. For the first time, the state flag fly-past and Presidential Gun Salute on parade and rehearsal days will pass over Kallang Basin, bringing those segments closer to crowds outside the stadium.
